The Committee on Social Policy and Labour recommends that the Parliament should adopt as a basis the draft law on amendments to article 36 of the Law “On Population Employment” (re activity of economic entities providing employment intermediary services)

The bill (Reg. No. 2935) suggests specifying the list of services that pertain to employment intermediary services. Particularly, it is suggested include provision of respective information consulting services to the abovementioned list.

Under the bill “employment intermediary services include job search, including provision of respective information consulting services, employment support, and selection of employees within the framework of concluded agreements”.

Committee members believe that adoption of the bill will allow prohibit economic entities providing employment intermediary services collect money from jobseekers for the services provided.
